Former Playboy bunny Louise Kavanagh is expecting a baby boy, the Herald can reveal.

The dark-haired beauty (29) will be welcoming her new arrival next March with her Scottish footballer fiance Chris Iwelumo.

And the lingerie model, who once worked at Hugh Hefner's Mayfair club as a croupier, told how she was "too excited" to wait out her pregnancy to find out the sex of the baby.

"We actually found out quite early, at the 12-week scan. We asked the doctor if she could tell us then and she said she could tell it was a boy so we were thrilled," said Louise.

"Chris already has two little girls and they were so excited when they found out they were going to have a little brother. Chris is delighted too, of course, he really wanted it to be a boy."

Now 19 weeks gone, Louise admitted she had been feeling seriously nauseous for the first trimester but is now "full of beans".

"I just had no energy and I had to eat every hour. I had to keep a packet of ginger nuts by the bed, which I'd have before I got up," she said.

"I was also eating a lot of things like Super Noodles and pasta, things with loads of additives and preservatives. Now I make sure to eat my seven-a-day portions of fruit and veg so I feel brilliant."

Louise said she only has a "little bump" after eating a big dinner, and hasn't really started showing yet.

Now based in Stoke-on-Trent with her other half, who she met several years ago through mutual friends, Louise said they will shortly begin moving to Manchester after striker Chris signed for Chester.

"It's going to be a busy time. I must be mad, moving house and having a baby, but we just need more space so we're going to start looking soon," she said.

Louise waited the full 12 weeks before she broke the good news about her imminent arrival to family and friends.

"They were all just delighted, they couldn't have been happier," she said.

"This is going to be the first grandchild, so they're just so very happy."
