Gordon D'Arcy's new lady Aoife Cogan is set to swap her stilettos for a paintbrush after enrolling in a full-time painting course at the National College of Art and Design.
The blonde beauty (26), who has been dating the rugby star for over a month, already has one of her paintings exhibited at the National Gallery of Ireland and has now turned to renowned painter Jim Fitzpatrick for tips.
"I'm still modelling full-time for now but I'm looking into doing a lot more painting in the future," Aoife told the Diary.
"I absolutely love art, especially quirky pop-art, so I would love to try and break into that.
"It's actually been easy to combine it with modelling because most of my work would be in the evenings doing fashion shows, so I can paint during the day," she added.
Former Miss Ireland winner Aoife is determined she won't be using her high profile relationship with Gordon to get ahead, however, insisting that she won't be joining the WAG brigade and discussing her relationship with the Leinster player publicly.
"It's all going well," she said of their blossoming relationship. "I don't really like to talk about my personal life, to be honest. I won't be discussing that at all."
The Castleknock beauty first met the dashing Irish Leinster centre through mutual friends.
Yesterday saw the statuesque beauty step out to Dundrum Town Centre to officially launch the centre's €50,000 Goodie Box Giveaway to mark its fifth birthday.
