TEEN queen Miley Cyrus and her new beau Liam Hemsworth have finally made their red carpet debut as a couple.
Miley has been linked to fellow actor Liam for some time now, but last night in Hollywood was their first official outing together as a couple.
Sources close to the couple confirmed last September they were in a relationship, and were dating for three months previously after meeting on the set of their new film The Last Song.
Pictures of them kissing and frolicking in the sea for their new film were published around the world, although shy Miley denied their on-screen romance had become a reality.
Now it seems the 17-year-old is not so shy about her new Australian beau, after the couple showed up arm in arm for their film.
And with her mother Tish also attending the film's premiere in Hollywood, it appears that hunky Liam (20) has the seal of approval from her parents, including country singing dad Billy Ray Cyrus.
Miley's passionate romance comes less than a year after she split from underwear model Justin Gaston (22).
After making their red carpet debut, the couple didn't stay together for long.
"I lost him so he's not being the best boyfriend right now," Miley said as she walked into the Arclight Hollywood Cinema.
"The whole deal was we were going to be walking together, but then I lost him first thing because he started saying hello to everyone."
The couple appeared together shortly after Miley confessed to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres how she fell for Liam after he opened a door for her.
It is thought that the couple will also attend the film's premieres next month in London, Rome and Munich.
