Mice invade Amanda's love-pad

CASTLEKNOCK beauty Amanda Byram claims the refurbishment of her London apartment has turned into a nightmare -- with mice getting into the kitchen.

The Total Wipeout presenter explained how her swish love-pad has become a building site this week, after she and her other half Craig McMullen decided to completely overhaul the interior. The couple decided to move in together last summer after Amanda gave her previous tenants notice and quit the bright lights of a LA.

The former model (37) claims her decision to redecorate the apartment on the same week that she is due to fulfil a lifelong dream by guest-presenting on ITV's This Morning was not her wisest however. Amanda has been sleeping on an air mattress in the kitchen since her bedroom floor was cemented on Wednesday.

"Please lord, when will this refurbishment ever end?" she wrote on her Twitter site. "I had a visitor in the form of Mr Mouse circling the airbed until 4am."

Earlier this week the star revealed her happiness after she was invited to step in for regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield while they are on holiday. Then Amanda is due to return to Argentina to shoot seasons four and five of hit BBC series Total Wipeout alongside Richard Hammond next month.

The leggy brunette recently hinted that a move to former Brumbies player Craig's home of Australia could be on the cards once she wraps filming on the show. Amanda explained how Craig, whom she celebrated her two-year anniversary with last June, has been dropping hints that they should consider making his hometown of Sydney their permanent base.

"He's mentioned it a few times over dinner," Amanda said. "It's definitely been dropped into conversation here and there. But it's very far away and I've done the far away thing already.

"I would never say never to anything, so maybe someday."
