IT'S that time of year again when Ryanair acknowledges its most committed and conscientious members of staff by getting them to strip down to their underwear and pose for the yearly calendar.
This year, Dublin native Lynn Jimenez has been given the honour of featuring in the airline's now iconic calendar.
The Rathfarnham native is Miss October and dons an itsy-bitsy red bikini for her shoot.
"I've never done anything like this before" the 25-year-old stewardess said. "I'm over the moon with how it went."
Lynn has been working for the discount airline since 2011 and flies between Spain and Italy.
She said that her Scottish fiance was delighted with her decision to do the calendar. Lynn is planning to get married next year.
The calendar features a variety of Ryanair stewardesses posing in underwear and swimwear and the girls all range in age from 20 to 27.
All profits from the calendar will go to the TVN Foundation; a Polish organisation that supplies hospital equipment for children suffering from cystic fibrosis.
The calendars cost €10 and are expected to sell fast.
Ryanair are also releasing a 'behind-the-scenes' video of the shoot, which took place in Cyprus.
Model and Herald Columnist Rosanna Davison sued the airline in 2011 after Ryanair branded Chris de Burgh's daughter a racist.
The comments were made after Rosanna (28) complained that there were no Irish girls in the 2009 calendar.
Ryanair posted on their website that Rosanna's comments 'bordered on racism'.
But Rosanna successfully sued the airline and was awarded €80,000 in damages.
