Matt Damon gives family credit

Matt Damon has credited his wife with helping him keep his family life together while working away on movies.

Luciana is pregnant with the couple's fourth child, due in the autumn, and the Bourne star told People he is able to balance his work and home commitments thanks to "a great wife".

Matt said: "She really keeps it together - we just talk it out and work it all out. You say, this is the job and this is the time commitment and this is where it will be. I'm a lot easier to hire if you're doing movies in New York."

The 39-year-old actor is said to be in talks to star in We Bought A Zoo, Cameron Crowe's movie adaptation of the best-selling memoir by Benjamin Mee, who moved to a dilapidated zoo in Britain with his family.

Meanwhile, Matt, who was attending the Ante Up for Africa charity poker event in Las Vegas, hosted by Oceans 11 co-star Don Cheadle at the weekend, revealed his children "are very excited" about a new addition to the family.

"They track its progress in mommy's belly," Matt revealed.

He and Luciana currently have three daughters; Alexia, 11, who is Luciana's child from a previous marriage, Isabella, four, and Gia, 22 months.
