FORMER Miss Ireland Lynn Kelly won't be trying out her new sizzling salsa moves on the man in her life.

The former Irish dancing champion (below) is currently taking part in Strictly Against Breast Cancer, a charity spin on hit dancing show Strictly Come Dancing.

And the leading Dublin model says she would not dare practise with her "manly" boyfriend of eight years, Robert Barr.

"I haven't shown him – he'll see on the night, and that's the first and last time that he will see them," the Jervis Street native told the Diary.

"I don't think salsa is his thing. He would tell me where to go," she added, laughing.

The sparkly event features some well-known faces including Masterchef star Nick Munier, former Dragons' Den supremo Bobby Kerr and presenter Sean Munsanje.

It will be a case of frills and sparkles at dawn when the dance extravaganza, which will raise funds for breast cancer research, takes place in Dublin's Convention Centre on December 7.

While she has a strong dance background, Lynn says that sexy salsa moves are far removed from the world of traditional Irish dance.

"It's different to anything I've ever done, because Irish dancing is quite straight and rigid, but this is all about the hips and it's quite sexy," she said.

The Dublin model this week learned she will be trying to impress with a salsa dance alongside her partner Barry Holmes, the HR director of the Royal College of Surgeons.

But she said there is no rivalry between competitors, as they are taking part for the same reason – to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
