Love/Hate star Aoibhinn catches the bouquet... all in a day's work

'LOVE/HATE' star Aoibhinn McGinnity could be taking a trip down the aisle.

The 27-year-old elbowed bridesmaids out of the way as she lurched for the bouquet while filming Cecelia Ahern's upcoming TV series, My Whole Half Life.

The usually glam actress looked dowdy in a frumpy peach-and-orange wrap dress and matching tangerine court shoes.

More than 30 actors took part in the scene, shot in The Little Blue Church in Kilternan.

My Whole Half Life tells the story of a woman who discovers she has Irish roots and decides to travel back to the old country.

Other Irish actors involved in the film include Valerie O'Connor, Kerry O'Brien and Brendan Conroy.

Two short stories written by Cecelia Ahern are being adapted for German TV in Ireland.

"There are two films, but the stories are interlinked," Aoibhinn said. "It's going to be a busy few months but I'm really excited about it – it should be a lot of fun."

Debut

It has been a week of buttercream and bridezillas for author Cecelia Ahern. The mum-of-two also starred in a wedding scene this week.

The 31-year-old made her screen debut on Tuesday when she filmed a church scene for her upcoming flick Love Rosie.

"I have no desire to act, but thought it would be nice to look back and see my face pop up in the congregation," she said.
