Louise has last laugh as she lands top gig with Littlewoods

A BEAUTIFUL plus-size model who was targeted by anti plus-size groups has landed a lucrative modelling contract with an international clothing giant.

Louise O'Reilly, from Malahide in North County Dublin, was accused online of "promoting obesity".

They said she should be "ashamed of herself".

Louise, however, is determined to press ahead with her modelling career despite the taunts.

The 22-year-old DCU student has made a name for herself as one of our top plus-size models.

And her star is set to soar even more with the contract for Littlewoods.

Louise, who wears a size 14, flew to Liverpool last week to shoot for the firm, and she is expected to be signed back to join them for more work later this year.

Blonde beauty Louise is in good company with the brand, which counts TV star Caroline Morahan and multi-millionaire Cecelia Ahern among its celebrity faces.

The curvy cutie has been snapped up to sport a variety of different looks for their website, and as the UK and Ireland's premier online department store, the Littlewoods' website is regularly viewed by millions of shoppers every day.

While she is signed to Morgan the Agency, she has also been scooped up by agencies in Munich and Milan, and is being scouted by Models 1 in London, and agencies in New York have also expressed an interest in working with her.

Her agent Rebecca Morgan believes the future is bright for Louise.

"Everybody seems to be delighted with the work she did in Liverpool and I'm waiting to hear what the follow on to it will be

"She was looking at the possibilities of going to the States during the summer.

"I think she's doing extremely well, she has the most amazing face.

"The fact that she is plus size is a huge advantage, there are not that many plus- size girls out there."

The DCU studenthas become a role model for women throughout the country who are struggling with their own body image, and she said that she loved helping women of all sizes increase their confidence.
