Lotto cousin can buy my baby a Ferrari, jokes Virginia

SOCIALTE Virginia Macari is hoping that her new multi-millionaire cousin will splash some of her Lotto win on a sports car for her son Thor.

The 35-year-old, who welcomed baby Thor in February with partner Kaste Dahl, told the Herald that she was shocked when she heard the news about third cousin Giustina Macari bagging a massive €5.7m over the weekend.

"She's more than welcome to buy him a Ferrari if she wants to," said new mum Virginia.

The brunette beauty couldn't believe it when she find out the news of 32-year-old Giustina's National Lottery win and insisted that she's "definitely going to start playing" now.

"It's crazy, I'm thrilled for her. I never do the Lotto, but I'm definitely going to start now -- maybe the family name has become lucky one. As they say, you have to be in it to win it.

"I wouldn't be very close with Giustina, but I know her parents very well, good luck to her. I've sent her my best wishes."

Aspiring fashion designer Virginia, who hails from Sutton, enjoyed a night with pals over the weekend and hosted a 'sip and see' party with her other half.

Virginia's now looking forward to finally getting back in the gym and hopes to shed her baby weight.

She has enlisted the help of trainer to the stars Paul Byrne. She said: "This week is my first week back training, I can't wait. I'm just dying to get toned and fit again ... we're doing more filming for Housewives of Dublin now too, so I want to get active."

Meanwhile, takeaway owner Giustina revealed that she's hoping to buy some horses with her prize money.

"I absolutely love horses, so I will definitely use the money to pursue my passion, but I just haven't come down off the clouds enough yet to think about what else I might do. I am still processing it," she admitted.

The half-Italian picked up her €10 ticket from her local newsagents Malone's.
