WITH just weeks to go until Xpose producer Debbie O'Donnell ties the knot in Italy, it looks unlikely that the show's former frontwoman Lorraine Keane will be in attendance.
The two worked side by side on Xpose before Lorraine sensationally quit TV3 following a much publicised bust-up with management.
Last week, Lorraine revealed that she would be writing her own expose about her 11-year stint as an entertainment reporter for TV3.
With the book set to be published by Blackwater Press next month, it would certainly make for an eventful day out if Lorraine is invited to Lake Como for the ceremony.
However, although she has remained on good terms with many of her former colleagues, it remains "unlikely" that she will be attending the nuptials.
The TV producer explained how she will be sending out invites to what promises to be one of the highlights of the social calendar later this week, but wouldn't be drawn on whether her former colleague will be on the guest list or not.
Debbie told the Diary: "I don't want to say who will or won't be there for definite until we've drawn up the final guest list and actually put the invitations in the post.
"It's safe to say that there will be a good old crew from TV3 there though, in particular Ireland AM and Xpose. The biggest issue now is trying to figure out how we're going to produce the show that week with most of the gang in Italy for the week."
Xpose presenters Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon, Karen Koster and Aisling O'Loughlin are expected to attend, while outgoing reporter Sean Munsanje is planning to make a holiday of it when his contract comes to an end later this month.
Debbie's longtime pal, Ireland AM presenter Alan Hughes, will also be there when she walks down the aisle on September 25 in the idyllic setting.
The popular presenter and his other half Karl Broderick --with whom he recently reunited after a brief split -- are both confirmed to jet out for the star-studded event.
The early riser is rumoured to be one of the groomsmen for Debbie's hubby-to-be on the day and is expected to give a speech at the star-studded reception recalling fond memories of his time working alongside the blonde producer.
Debbie bought her traditional style dress for her big day off the peg from bridal boutique, The White Room in Mullingar, on the advice of her colleague Sinead Desmond.
"I'm so excited about it, I picked it out a few weeks ago but it's actually due to arrive this week so I can't wait to see it," she said.
"We're trying to make a nice occasion of it and of course my son Marcus will be in the centre of everything."
Debbie and her South African boyfriend Jonny Carroll will honeymoon in Tuscany after swapping vows.
