FORMER TV3 star Lorraine Keane is looking forward to working with former colleague Grainne Seoige once more, after ITV bosses asked her to return as a contributor on Daybreak.
The mum-of-two has presented occasional slots on GMTV in recent years, and reported from Jedward’s home town of Lucan during last year’s X Factor.
Now Lorraine has been commissioned to work for the Daybreak show whenever there is an Irish issue of relevance.
Delighted Lorraine, who worked with Grainne at TV3 for several years, said: “It’s gas that we’ll be working together again. It’s unbelievable really but I’m looking forward to it.
“If anything comes up in Dublin or around the country I’ll be covering it.
“I think it’s great for Grainne that she’s doing so well, I really do. I think it’s amazing for her and amazing for Irish people. I really hope it works out for her.
“Us girls need to stick together and look out for each other.
“I mean, we don’t have the right to complain about men getting ahead and there being a glass ceiling in place if we’re not prepared to support one another,” she added.
The former Xpose host said she’s never been busier, after being signed up as the face of Garnier haircare in Ireland for the second year in a row.
Lorraine has also been invited on another charity trip to a developing country with Trocaire in December and will jet off immediately after her first book hits the shelves.
