Lorraine doing things by the book in France

FORMER TV3 star Lorraine Keane is certainly making the most of her free time this summer -- after extending her stay in the south of France by a month.

The Diary can reveal how the ex-showbiz reporter has decided to stay on in her luxurious villa on the Cote d'Azur with musician hubby Peter Devlin and their two daughters; Emelia (7) and Romy (4) in order to continue working on her first book. Lorraine is due to publish her tell-all book chronicling her time as an entertainment reporter with TV3 before the end of the year.

The glamorous brunette is said to have secured a lucrative contract in order to dish the dirt on her time with the station and her shock exit in April of last year.

"Lorraine and her family go to France every year for a few weeks but now that she has so much free time on her hands she has decided to extend her break and spend the whole summer there," said a close pal.

"She's very close to her sisters and some of them have arranged to come out to visit, as well as other family friends.

"When she's not entertaining Lorraine has been spending a lot of time working on her book and says the peace and tranquillity over there has proved the perfect setting to write in."

TV3 bosses are said to be quaking in their boots about the revelations she could potentially make about her time with the station.

However Lorraine has been keen to assure her former colleagues that she won't be revealing anything too controversial when the book hits the shelves.

"I want to work in this industry for a long time and I'm not going to dirty my bib by saying anything out of line," she said.
