Look out for Mr Big in the city as he films Titanic mini-series here

THE Diary spotted the delectable Chris Noth striding around the Shelbourne Hotel this week.

Best known to fans of Sex And The City as Mr Big, he cut an unassuming figure as he walked around the lobby of the plush Dublin hotel, where he has been staying for the past number of days.

And it seems we're going to see a lot more of the hunky actor, judging by recent news.

The star is over here filming TV mini-series Titanic Blood And Steel, following its six-week shoot in Serbia.

Worth some €12m to the Irish film industry, the new movie chronicles the entire history of the ill-fated liner Titanic and will film in Dublin and Wicklow over the coming weeks.

Locations used in the period-style series include the Guinness Factory, Palmerstown House, the Botanic Gardens and Clancy Barracks, and it looks set to be a huge success with TV audiences.

Co-starring in the series with Roth will be Scream actress Neve Campbell (pictured left) alongside Gossip Girl's Kevin Zegers, Derek Jacobi of Gladiator, Irish star Liam Cunningham and Martin McCann of Killing Bono.

The show is due to air sometime in 2012 to coincide with the 100th anniversary since the Titanic's attempted journey to New York before crashing into an iceberg and sinking.
