Lisa to reveal how she dropped four sizes

STYLIST Lisa Fitzpatrick is set to share the weight loss tips that saw her drop four dress sizes in a new book.

The mother-of-two's "emotional journey" from a size 16 is charted in Diet SOS, which will be launched on May 29 with a star-studded party at Dublin's luxurious Morgan Hotel.

She told the Herald: "I managed to get away with being overweight because I knew how to hide in certain clothes, so I thought I was happy for a while. But at 16 stone in my thirties, it really hit me.

"The book recounts my personal experience and is about the journey that I went on to shed the pounds and get healthy.

"It was a long process and very hard work to see results. There are definitely no quick fixes, but hopefully people will read it and like it."

Fitzpatrick, who is enjoying one of the busiest periods of her career, is this week taking on her longest stint on ITV breakfast show This Morning.

She said: "I'm going to be doing a series of surprise makeovers on real women – a complete overhaul.

"I'm soaking it all in while they want me, and it's great fun at the station.

"I love travelling, so I'm delighted to be going back and forth to help out at ITV.

"I've made some great friends there over the past few months and I know a lot of people who live and work in the UK too, so I'm never lonely.

"I'm also back on TV3's Ireland AM with my style clinic, so I'm really enjoying work.

"Mind you, I love getting an early night, chilling out and reading at my hotel."

On top of her TV work, Fitzpatrick is teaming up with the leading UK label Bastyan to design her first clothing line.
