IF you spot any Leinster rugby players in Drumcondra in the coming weeks, they're probably getting a haircut.
For the last few years, most of the side have had their locks shorn by Latvian stylist Gintare Knizikeviciute, of the Grafton Barber.
However with 'Ginta' setting up a new branch of the Grafton Barber in Dublin 9, players including Ian Madigan (pictured with Ginta), Kevin McLaughlin and Dominic Ryan have followed her to her new salon, opposite the Skylon Hotel in Drumcondra.
"It's great to have loyal customers. The team even gave me an autographed rugby shirt," Ginta told the Diary.
And the rugby-loving hairdresser is the latest to give her backing to the Herald's campaign to have Isa Nacewa given a Lord Mayor's award.
Fans of the Kiwi on Dublin City Council want the player honoured for his huge contribution to rugby since he first donned the blue jersey in 2008.
