ACTRESS Leigh Arnold has revealed her delight at Charlie Casanova being nominated for this year's Irish Film and TV Awards.
The pregnant star (pictured), who is based in the UK, will be travelling back to Dublin next month to walk down the red carpet at the glitzy bash at the National Convention Centre on February 12.
She co-starred in the independent movie alongside Hollyoaks hunk Emmett Scanlan. And the only problem she'll have is deciding what to wear to accommodate her growing baby bump, given that she is due to have her first baby with fiance Steve Davies at the end of March.
"A great designer has already been in touch so fingers crossed," she said. "But I'm really proud of Terry and the whole cast and crew. Everyone worked so hard and it's incredible that the film is up for four awards.
"Terry took such a risk with this movie and it's brilliant that it has been so widely recognised."
The former Clinic star is now living in Manchester after upping sticks and moving over to Britain for a fresh start. Last September she revealed how she had got engaged to her boyfriend and two months later spoke for the first time about her pregnancy.
She described it as "the most wonderful gift" and says she has never been happier. "I have been tired, there's some days you feel like you've just run a marathon but I haven't had any nausea and I've had some friends who had terrible morning sickness during the early months but I've been fine," she said.
"I've had no weird cravings at all but I can't get enough of healthy things like avocados, peaches and mandarins and doing lots of Yoga."
