Law student Roz uses her right to silence on budding romance

Assets beauty Roz Lipsett has set tongues wagging this week after being linked to a new beau.

Word has reached the Diary that the brunette model has a new man in her life after making the big move back to Dublin from the Big Apple last summer.

The D4 socialite, who quit her celebrity lifestyle in New York to begin studying to be a barrister at the Honourable Society of King's Inn, is said to have enjoyed a series of dates with banker Andrew Jones in recent months.

The pair, who have remained steadfastly tight-lipped about their blossoming romance, were spotted enjoying each other's company in celebrity hotspot Residence over the Christmas period.

However, it seems Roz (24), who cut her teeth on the catwalks of Dublin before being signed to top model agency, New York Models, will not be going down the route of other high-profile beauties and spilling the beans about any new relationship in her life.

She declined to comment on the rumours when contacted by the Diary.

Her rumoured squeeze, Andrew, is also well-known on the showbiz scene, regularly stepping out to celebrity hotspots such as Harcourt Street's Krystle nightclub.

"They've been seeing each other for over three months after meeting through some mutual friends," said a pal of the Dublin businessman.

"They're not interested in being in the papers and have been trying to keep it quiet.

"Roz had already made the decision to return to Dublin to study and only started spending time with Andrew after she moved back," they added.

Roz previously dated Gavin Kilduff, son of Tony, one of Ireland's first technology millionaires, before moving to the US over two years ago.

Since leaving the States, Roz has been determined to shed her previous girl-about-town image and has tended to avoid popular celeb hangouts.

The leggy brunette is said to be concentrating instead on her studies and has been keeping her head in the books to ensure she gains her law qualification.

The Rathgar beauty's decision to return home came as a shock to many, given that she was doing so well in New York, even getting the thumbs-up from Victoria Beckham, whose VB jeans collection she modelled in the US.

Roz was also signed up to front campaigns for Burberry and Versace. And there were no shortage of celebrity pals on the scene, given that the model rubbed shoulders with everyone from Mick Jagger to Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.

However, the ambitious beauty is said to have grown homesick and was keen to return to her friends and family in Dublin.
