Laura takes to the netball court for a good cause

PARTY girl Laura Whitmore will be taking on a host of sporting champs and comedians in a charity netball match this Friday.

The slim MTV star will be ditching her high-fashion ensembles for a high-visibility bib when she takes to the court.

"Oh lord what have I agreed to?" she asked. "I've never played netball in my life."

But regardless of who wins or loses, it sounds like there will be plenty of laughs on the court – and sidelines.

David Beckham's BFF James Corden, cockney comedian Micky Flanagan and posh toff Jack Whitehall will join Laura in the A League of Their Own charity match.

Former footballer Jamie Rednapp and retired cricketer Freddie Flintoff will also take on the biggest names in English netball at Wembley Arena.

She may be a tad nervous but Laura can give those netball champs a run for their money.

She's been on a health kick since the start of January. She's already finished a juice detox after all the Christmas partying and has started attending classes at gym SBC – that's the Skinny Bitch Collective.

"They have you upside down running against walls, lifting weights, doing squats – it's really tough," she said.

The presenter was back in Dublin this week to attend an evening hosted by Angela Scanlon and Smashbox make up in Fade Street Social.

"It's lovely coming home even for a day," she told the Diary.

"Flights are so cheap it just make sense to come back, chat to my mum and hang out with my friends."
