LOCK up your daughters, mothers and grannies -- it looks like Calum Best will become a permanent fixture on Dublin's social scene in the coming months.
The Californian party boy has just been signed up to appear on the second series of TV3 reality show Celebrity Salon.
The Diary can confirm that late footballer George Best's son will spend several weeks in Dublin next month when the show begins filming at a location yet to be confirmed.
Calum recently jetted into town to celebrate his 30th birthday at Bucks Townhouse on Leeson Street and is said to have jumped at the chance to appear on the programme after falling in love with the capital's social scene during his visit.
He is set to go head to head with a number of well-known Irish personalities, as he tries to become an expert on the beauty trade in a bid to win and follow in the footsteps of model boss Celia Holman Lee.
"Production is due to begin on the second series next month and Calum is definitely on board," said a station insider.
"The rest of the names involved are still being confirmed at the moment, but they are all very recognisable faces and one in particular is a very high-profile Irish model," they added.
The Diary hopes for Calum's sake that the model in question is not Assets beauty Jodie Wood, with whom he enjoyed a brief fling last year.
More big names are expected to be added to the line-up in the coming weeks, with reigning Mr World Kamal Ibrahim also believed to be in the running for a spot on the show.
