Kirsteen proves a hit for TV3 football fans

SPORTS-mad Kirsteen O'Sullivan has revealed she couldn't be happier to be the glamorous new face of TV3's Champions League coverage.

The beautiful Scottish-born presenter is beginning to carve out a name for herself as the Ballymount station's hottest new star.

The ambitious blonde, who has already worked with the BBC, Setanta and GMTV, caught the eye of viewers when she made her debut alongside Matt Cooper last week in a sparkly blue strapless top.

And down-to-earth Kirsteen told the Herald she is thrilled to be joining the ranks of Irish female sports experts and is flattered people even noticed her on the programme. "That's a huge compliment. I'm just doing what I love to do. Women are interested in sport and I think they should be represented so I'm very happy where I am," she said.

The fashionista is enjoying having her choice of glitzy ensembles to wear on the programme, but added: "I have my own style.

"I'm not really trying to make a fashion statement. The show is very long so I just want to wear something comfortable.

"I would be quite sporty. I'm probably what you would call a casual football fan and I'm really into surfing as well so it's a bit of a dream job.

"We have a great time on the show and the team is brilliant. Matt is a pro, he really knows his stuff and he has been very welcoming."
