Kathryn Thomas insists her recent trip to Las Vegas has not made her lust for marriage.
The popular RTE presenter, who enjoyed a two-week visit to America's party capital, dubbed Sin City last month, explained how she and her pals encountered Irish couples who were over there to tie the knot.
Former No Frontiers host Kathryn claims that many are opting for quickie ceremonies in Vegas to save cash.
However the blonde beauty, who marked her three-year anniversary with Garda beau Enda Waters over the summer, told the Herald she was in no rush down the aisle.
"It definitely didn't put any ideas in my own head," she explained. "I was there with a group of six girls so we were all about having a good time.
"It was surprising to run into so many Irish couples getting married over there. Apparently it's becoming a popular trend during the recession.
"I was there for two weeks and I was really impressed. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not but I really did. There are so many different types of holidays you can do there.
"I didn't do too much gambling, I left that to one of the others. We did go on a helicopter ride though the Grand Canyon though, which I really enjoyed."
Kathryn returned to the small screen last weekend when she and co-host Marty Whelan began hosting The National Lottery's Winning Streak Dream Ticket for another season.
The bubbly star says she has a number of other projects coming up over the coming months, but was remaining tight lipped about speculation that she is due to step into late broadcaster Gerry Ryan's shoes as host of weight loss series, Operation Transformation.
"There's nothing I can say about that now," she said.
Management at the National Broadcaster have been scrambling to fill the slot following Gerry's sudden passing last April.
One of its biggest ratings winners, Operation Transformation regularly pulled in hundreds of thousands of viewers.
