Juliette links up with Thrones star Nikolaj on capital shoot

GAME of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is to join Oscar winner Juliette Binoche on a Dublin film set.

The Danish actor joins a cast of A Thousand Times Goodnight which has already recorded some scenes at Dublin Airport.

The Herald previously revealed how French actress Binoche is due to spend around five weeks here before the production moves to Morocco.

Binoche, who won an Oscar for The English Patient and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Chocolat, shot several scenes in the check-in and arrivals areas of Terminal 2 yesterday.

Coster-Waldau (42) is best known on Irish shores for his role as a member of the Lannister clan in the popular Game of Thrones series. He plays Jaime Lannister in the hit HBO series.

However he has also appeared in a number of well known Hollywood films including a starring role in Black Hawk Down, and Enigma with well-known actress Kate Winslet.

He also starred in the film Blackthorn last year, which also featured Irish actor Stephen Rea.
