JEDWARD'S road manager Liam McKenna is off the menu for Come Dine With Me after being hospitalised with pneumonia.
The Herald can reveal how the former Six star (31) has spent the past few days in hospital and is now recovering at home in Tyrone.
However, his sudden illness has meant that he was unable to take part in the celebrity version of the TV3 programme, which features Herald columnist Rosanna Davison.
The tour manager said: "I'm out of hospital and recovering at home. It's nice having the days to relax. Pity it took pneumonia to get time off."
He said having to pull out of CDWM was the "worst part" but he's now concentrating on getting better.
Liam, who's constantly with John and Edward Grimes (20), inset, when they go on tour, has been building up his own fan base in recent times.
He featured on their first-ever documentary for ITV2 entitled Jedward: Let Loose, where he was filmed advising them on how to survive life outside their parents' home -- even showing them how to work the fridge.
Singer Liam also appeared on the Late Late Show last month to take part in a 10-year reunion of defunct pop band Six.
And Liam will certainly need all the energy he can get, given the hectic few months ahead for the chart-topping twins. As well as recording a new Euro 2012 anthem for charity called Put Your Green Cape On, they are also gearing up to head to Azerbaijan in May for the Eurovision song contest.
Last week saw them recording a new programme for Channel 5 entitled Jedward's Weird And Wonderful World, with another Christmas panto and a possible musical also in the pipeline.
