HAIR-raising twins Jedward have taken on a new job -- as tour guides to US actress Tara Reid.
Fresh from their appearance at the American Pie: The Reunion premiere in Dublin, the Waterline singers decided to show 36-year-old Tara the local sights.
John and Edward Grimes (20) brought the blonde beauty for an adventure day out at Dalkey Castle.
The Lucan natives, who are well known for their signature hairstyles, allowed the hotel's resident Tudor Barber Surgeon to give them a new do as part of the fun.
An actor from Deilg Inis Living History Theatre Company played the role of Lord Henry Walsh, the Barber Surgeon, to show Tara and the Dublin duo a 15th-century version of the 'Jed head' -- with resin glue.
A short trim was even suggested, but John declined, despite Celebrity Big Brother star Tara's insistence.
The trio then spent the afternoon fighting off archers and escaping the Pillory where they were pelted with fruit.
The singing sensations have been busy preparing for their upcoming trip to Azerbaijan next month, ahead of the Eurovision in Baku.
The X Factor graduates are going all out this year on designing their spectacular costumes for the competition, even though they may have to settle for a smaller suitcase of stage outfits than usual.
The chart-toppers revealed to the Herald that they had designed 14 different spectacular outfits to ensure a show-stopping performance.
"We're going to go all out to make sure they look amazing. We want some LED lights put in them and have see-through trainers with maybe some fish in the soles. We're going to look awesome, it's what our fans expect of us."
Due to RTE Eurovision cutbacks, Jedward have seen their wardrobe budget cut in half.
"We wanted to have 14 outfits for the contest as we want to look our best ever but we were told it would be too expensive so we'll have to get seven instead," said John.
A source has insisted that fans should expect "serious showstopping factor" with their latest creations.
John and Edward brought along their big brother Kevin and they turned out to support their close friend Tara on Wednesday at the Savoy cinema on O'Connell Street.
