JEDWARD will take centre stage at a Gay Pride event this evening, pocketing a juicy payday in the process.
THE Herald can reveal how John and Edward Grimes (20) will be cashing in as they perform in Stockholm for a rumoured fee of €50,000.
The Lucan twins will be joining a host of big-name Swedish artists for the event's pop night, as they continue to build a name for themselves in Europe.
The Lipstick stars have been billed as the headline act and will be performing four tracks at a venue in the capital.
"It's going to be really cool. We can't wait to get over there and meet everyone in Sweden," said Edward.
And the quiff-haired twins made sure to bring along their Hollywood pal Tara Reid.
Their unlikely friendship with the American Pie star continues apace, having spent last week on a yacht in Saint-Tropez with the blonde actress.
She then came back to Ireland with them for a few days before heading out to Stockholm to enjoy the atmosphere.
Jedward have been steadily building up a profile in mainland Europe, thanks to their success at the Eurovision in Dusseldorf last year, as well as this year's trip to Azerbaijan.
Popular among the gay community, the pair previously posed for the cover of the Gay Times after being styled with an edgier, more mature look for the shoot.
But they're also popular with teenagers and have amassed a huge fanbase known as the Jed Army.
Whenever they're asked about the subject of girlfriends, they always say they're too busy working on their music to pursue relationships.
But they said that whoever they went out with would have to understand their special bonds as twins.
"We would be the best boyfriends ever," said Edward.
"Our fans always say, 'the girl who finds you guys is going to be really lucky'. And we're like 'yeah'."
John said that their dream girls would be "really cool" and like having fun.
