Jedward hope Lipstick song will be kiss of life for Eurovision quest

JEDWARD are hoping to give their competition the kiss of death by calling their brand new Eurovision single Lipstick, the Herald can exclusively reveal.

X Factor sensations John and Edward Grimes (19) will be puckering up to all their fans shortly with their saucy song and hoping it will prove their perfect meal ticket into the May song contest.

There was massive speculation as to the title of their original new single, but the Herald can today confirm it will be called Lipstick.

Clad in matching red lycra suits and covered in lipstick kisses, the wacky twins released this new photo to their fans this week and gave them a luscious teaser to the title of their single.

"Do you like this cool new picture of us? Well here's a hint. The name of the track is linked to it," they said.

"Guys, we are so excited about this. We are going to really need your support as it all comes down to a public vote. We can show them what amazing fans we have."

Written by the same ace team that worked with chart-toppers JLS, namely Dan Priddy, Lars Gensen and Martin Larrson, they recorded the song in a London studio earlier this month.

They are now hoping Lipstick, which they will debut for the first time for the nation just before Valentine's Day on February 11, will see them sail through to the Eurovision contest in Dusseldorf.
