Jay Sean to preside over his aftershow party

We have long suspected that our shapely celebs had to work hard for their top figures -- now we have the proof.

Forget bikram yoga and working the Powerplate for hours, it seems Pilates is the hot way to stay in shape for 2010.

Rosanna Davison and Laura Toogood have made no secret of their fondness for the exercise system, crediting it for helping them stay picture perfect.

And this morning there was a host of familiar faces out at Dun Laoghaire trying out the new Pilates prof performer.

Among those spotted hopping on the scary-looking machine for this morning's launch were former Ireland star Paul McGrath alongside musician Paul Byrom, 98's Siobhan O'Connor as well as actress Leigh Arnold.

  • Nice to see Derry Clarke, of L'Ecrivain, supporting his old pal Conrad Gallagher.

A Diary mole spotted the gregarious chef sampling the delights of Conrad's new Aungier Street restaurant earlier this week as he headed in with a gang of high-profile pals to check out the new kid on the cuisine block.

The TV chef, who had a stint in the hilarious Failte Towers, turned heads after popping in with glam wife Sallyanne Clarke on Tuesday night.

They were joined by Health Minister Mary Harney, who was there with hubbie Brian Geoghegan.

And the food served up by the controversial chef obviously met with with the approval of the discerning diners.

They arrived in shortly after 8pm and didn't leave until well past 10.

  • Boyzone's Keith Duffy has been thanking the band's fans for supporting their latest single.

A Facebook group has been set up campaigning to get new ditty, Gave It All Away, to the number one spot as quickly as possible.

Corrie star Keith has revealed his delight at the response to the song.

"I can't believe the support from all you guys for this song and tribute to me auld mate Steo, he would be so proud," he said.

He added how he can't wait to see the rest of the boys as they've all been busy doing their own thing over the past few weeks.

  • R&B sensation Jay Sean will be presiding over his official aftershow party in Dublin next week.

He'll be jetting into the capital to perform at the O2 arena next Thursday as he supports fellow star Ne-Yo on his Year of the Gentleman tour.

And he has just confirmed that he will be heading to the twentyone club on D'Olier Street to unwind in style following their performance, where he may be joined by his R&B pal Ne-Yo.

Previous revellers at the club have included Rihanna, who was famously photographed in there with Chris Brown, as well as the Pussycat Dolls.

If you fancy mingling with the gang, there's a handful of passes still on sale from tickets.ie.
