Is that a baby bump? Rumours rife that Jennifer's finally pregnant at 42

Jennifer Aniston is expecting her first child at 42 years old, reports claim.

The actress is said to be six months pregnant with Justin Theroux (40), the actor who shares her New York home.

The ex-Friends star fuelled rumours that she is sporting a growing baby bump after being noticeably absent from a number of red carpet events recently.

Jennifer, who has been open about her desire to have children, did not turn out at the Golden Globes last weekend and has been keeping a low profile over the past few months with her boyfriend.

The loved-up pair, who quit the Los Angeles lifestyle in favour of the Big Apple, spent the Christmas holidays at a ski chalet in Colorado and Jennifer was spotted last week appearing to hide her stomach under a large coat.

Baby rumours first surfaced when the couple were seen leaving a clinic in October and according to sources close to the A-lister, they had fertility treatment in 2011. A friend has said that the leggy star, who has also finally quit smoking, wouldn't want to make 'a big deal' about pregnancy, but fully intends to have a family.

"She wouldn't have wanted to make a big deal but she must be so excited. If anyone ever asked if she was worried about running out of time, she'd reply, 'I'm absolutely having kids, there's not one doubt in my mind'," the insider said.

Although she has been hailed as having the Most Desired Female Body, Jennifer has been unlucky in love since her marriage to Brad Pitt (48), which broke down in 2005 after only four years together. Since then she has been paired with a string of high-profile celebrities, including Your Body Is A Wonderland singer John Mayer (34), but the blonde beauty has not yet managed to find her Mr Right.

While her ex-hubby Brad has embraced family life with his spouse Angelina Jolie and their brood of children, Jennifer has never taken on the challenge of motherhood.

She has been romantically linked to Theroux, with whom she starred in Wanderlust, since May 2011.
