STACEY Solomon admitted that she deserves criticism after being pictured smoking during her pregnancy -- and said she is struggling to kick her habit.
The X Factor and I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! star is seven months pregnant but has continued to light up, despite the health risks for unborn babies.
Solomon called ITV1 show Loose Women and said: "It's something I'm not proud of, I'm really, really struggling."
She spoke after the pictures of her puffing on a cigarette were published at the weekend.
Solomon said criticisms which have been levelled at her were justified: "All of the responses are something that I deserve. I don't for one minute think I can sit here and say it is okay. So I can accept that kind of criticism and although it's not nice to hear, I know that it's true, and maybe that will give me more power to stop."
Solomon -- a mother of one, whose second baby is due on May 7 -- said she felt "guilty" about smoking.
She added: "It's something I'm not proud of and I'm really, really struggling with. It's something that I don't want to do and that I'm not happy doing, so it's horrible."
The reality TV star has now been axed as celebrity mum of the year. She was given the title last March by sponsors Foxy Bingo.com.
In a statement, organisers said: "Stacey has apologised to the people at Foxy Bingo and is sorry and embarrassed by her actions.
"We understand Stacey is doing everything she can to stop smoking and in recent times has cut back dramatically. She's naturally disappointed but accepts Foxy Bingo's decision."
