I'm not new Daybreak presenter! says Sinead

ONE of the more unusual rumours in the showbiz world has been dismissed by Sinead Desmond -- she will not be replacing Christine Bleakley on ITV.

The TV3 star laughed off reports that she could be jumping into the hot seat on ITV's Daybreak show.

The presenter was one of the names mentioned in a report, in relation to a possible replacement for Ms Bleakley on the couch of the programme, which Grainne Seoige left last August.

"It's obviously incredibly flattering to be mentioned with a new show and I would never say no to an opportunity but I'm happy where I am and I know nothing about it. I think my name came up in one of the British papers," she said.

"Obviously if they wanted to pay me €5m to take over the role, I would have to consider it!"
