I'm mad for Michael says Noirin so forget those JLS rumours...

FORMER Big Brother star Noirin Kelly has denied she and Aston Merrygold of boyband JLS were ever an item.

The Dublin beauty revealed the pair are good pals, but never dated -- despite being spotted looking cosy together last year.

Noirin said: "I think all those stories are really funny and luckily Michael [Stafford] does too.

"You could get paranoid if you were to pay attention to them, but we trust each other and he knows who I am.

"The ironic thing is that half the time I've been linked to this guy or that, I've actually been out with my boyfriend.

"I know all the JLS guys really well and I think they're great fun but I definitely never dated any of them.

"I'm 26 and they're all in their early twenties so they're very young, it would never work," she laughed.

Noirin has quit the bright lights of London in the name of love -- but is determined she won't be trading in her life as a city slicker in favour of a countryside love nest anytime soon.

The reality star, who went public with her blossoming romance with Wexford native Michael in recent weeks, has returned to her family home in Cabinteely to pursue a career in showbiz here.

However, Noirin told the Diary she has no plans to move to the south-east of the country to be with her beau full-time, explaining that she and her new man will commute between their respective homes.

"It's all going great with Michael, I'm crazy about him," she explained. "But there's no way I could live in Wexford.

"It's just too far away from all my family and friends in Dublin and that's where the work is for me.

"We'll be able to see each other a lot more now though -- he's in Dublin a bit during the week and we'll be able to spend weekends together."

She added: "I love London but I just found it was losing its appeal a bit, I was just out partying all the time and it becomes a bit empty and lonely after a while. I'm so glad to be back home, nearer to my family and friends and boyfriend now."

The aspiring TV presenter, who posed for lad's mag Nuts after leaving the Big Brother house, claims she has left her topless modelling days behind.

"I am taking a step back from the glamour modelling," she explained. "That was more because it was instant money ... after I did the show.

"I never planned to make a career out of it and I have the brains to do other things.

"I wouldn't mind doing more reality TV, something like Dancing On Ice would be my ideal programme," she added.

Noirin was in the RDS today to offer tips to aspiring Big Brother stars as they auditioned for next summer's final Channel 4 series.
