I'm a huge fan of 'cute' Rihanna, reveals Liam

LIAM Neeson is full of praise for his Battleship co-star Rihanna, calling the singer "cute".

Neeson, who plays a US navy admiral in the summer blockbuster, has revealed that he couldn't wait to get his picture taken with the Umbrella singer and describes himself as a fan RiRi's music.

The 59-year-old admitted that he requested a photo with the 23-year-old songstress when they met on the Battleship set and pretended it was for his two sons.

"Yeah, 'my sons', that was for me. My God, she's so cute and she's great in the film," he said.

Co Antrim native Liam, who turns 60 this summer and can currently be seen on the big screen as Zeus in Wrath Of The Titans, added: "I know her songs well. I've been known to hum We Found Love from time to time." And chart-topper Rihanna seems equally fond of the dad-of-two. She told Xpose's Karen Koster that she is a huge fan of the veteran actor.

"I love Liam Neeson, I think he is incredible. There's so much mystery to him, but that's why he is so intimidating. But the minute he comes over and he starts talking to you he's very kind -- I respected that so much about him. He's so humble."

Schindler's List star Liam has become the latest Hollywood action hero, thanks to previous films such as Taken and The A Team.

But Liam has confessed he does little to stay in shape and has given up on intense regimes over the years.
