I'll only sing for baby Koa from now on, reveals Jodi

POP wife Jodi Albert is happy to forego her singing career to remain a stay-at-home mum.

The former Wonderland performer has admitted that she's in no rush to get back into the recording studio.

Although her former band mates Sharon Condon (below) and Kasey Smith are still hoping to make it big in music, Jodi says the only person she will be singing to is her new baby boy.

"I'm 28 now and I just want to enjoy being with my little boy. Literally each week he is changing and growing and I really don't want to miss a minute of it," she explained.

Jodi, who is married to Westlife star Kian Egan, says losing Wonderland's record deal was like breaking up with a boyfriend and she hasn't even thought about rejuvenating her music career.

Speaking to the Herald, the mum-of-one said it's too soon to think about releasing music at the moment.

"I have to be completely honest, Wonderland ending absolutely broke my heart, it was the worst thing, and I'm still not over it at all, I'm still quite sad about it."

Although she won't be singing to crowds of thousands anymore, Jodi says singing to her little boy, sometimes with bandmate Corrina Durran, is enough now.

"But I do sing to Koa to get him to sleep. This is going to sound so cheesy but me and Corrina sang to him the other day. I was rocking him to sleep and I was singing How You Move Me to him and Corrina was there, and she just came in with a harmony, it was so funny," she laughed.

Jodi added that she is delighted to have husband Kian back on Irish soil. The Voice coach was busy touring in China for the last month on Westlife's Farewell Tour.
