I couldn't stop staring at Shakira, says Nadia after joining star at O2

Top model Nadia Forde (22) has revealed how she was left totally starstruck after joining Latin bombshell Shakira on stage at The O2 this week.

The brunette clothes horse was picked to be one of the dancers for the grand finale of the Colombian star's first Irish performance at the northside venue on Thursday night.

And Nadia has explained how she had the chance to mingle with the star backstage after one of her musicians invited her to the official aftershow party -- but the attached model politely declined.

"I decided against it, it was time to go home," she explained. "I was just in awe of Shakira, the whole time we were on stage, I couldn't stop staring at her. She's even tinier in real life than she looks on her video."

Given that Nadia is the official Seat ambassador, which is sponsoring Shakira's European tour, she was chosen to perform a short dance during the singer's monster hit and World Cup soccer anthem Waka Waka.

Nadia had to spend a few hours at the venue learning the short dance routine, prior to Shakira taking to the stage during the sell-out concert in Dublin.

The model, who dates DJ Mark Noble, has admitted that the nerves were definitely jangling when it was her turn to perform in front of more than 10,000 music fans.

"Just before we went on stage, I was like 'I can't do this, I'm too nervous!' But I really got into it, it was just such a buzz. I was absolutely bricking myself but it was worth it in the end. It was over before I knew it but you're on a real high afterwards," she continued.
