Kate Hudson, the star of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, has inspired her boyfriend, the Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, to write a song.
Kate Hudson may still be waiting for an engagement ring from her boyfriend, the rock star Matt Bellamy, but the Hollywood actress has won a musical sign of devotion.
Bellamy who sings with with the band Muse, says that he is writing a song for Hudson and the child that she is expecting.
"There will be one lullaby on the next album for sure," he says at a party in Brixton, south London.
Hudson, 31, who is the daughter of the American actors Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, has a son, Ryder, aged seven, from her marriage to another rock singer, Chris Robinson, of The Black Crowes. "Ryder is loving it," Bellamy says of Hudson's pregnancy.
Of Hudson, he adds: "The first trimester was a bit tough, but now she's doing really well."
