Hollywood hunk? NOT UNTIL My sex tape's OUT – SHEEHAN

He's the lead in Cassandra Clare's upcoming blockbuster franchise Mortal Instruments but Robert Sheehan insists he's a long way from becoming a Hollywood hunk.

The Love/Hate star says he's even asked director Harald Zwart to light him softly and add a flattering filter when editing the film.

"We finished all the filming but now they are doing all the tweaking and the editing and making us look more cinematic," the 25-year-old told the Herald.

"They are just putting in all the flattering filters to make us look more pleasing. I said 'can you put the Bruce Willis filter on me please? Shadow in the old biceps please?'" he joked.

"It should be out in August so it's all very exciting."

But despite Robert's claims, word on the Hollywood boulevard is he's well on his way to becoming the next Robert Pattinson.

But the star isn't letting impending global stardom go to his head and joked that he wouldn't be a fully fledged A-lister until he leaked a sex tape, which he said was ready to go.

"When you've released a sex tape, that's when the worldwide fame sets in. I've got that ready to go," he laughed.

City Of Bones is the first chapter in the Mortal Instruments series. Set in New York, the film is packed with fight scenes .

Last weekend Robert attended the IFTAs ceremony. Despite missing out on an award he was in flying form and spent the evening partying with his Love/Hate co-stars.

His character Darren was gunned down in the season finale of RTE's gritty gangland drama and the Portlaois native said he will miss the Love/Hate family.
