Glam Rosanna brings revellers to new hot spot

Former Miss World Rosanna Davison led a posse of revellers out to the Grand Hotel in Wicklow for the launch of new nightclub The Venue.

The Herald columnist was looking her usual glam self at the hot spot, set to open every weekend with live comedy, bands and DJs.

VIP guests were brought out from Donnybrook by courtesy bus so they could leave their cars behind and enjoy themselves.

Among those checking out the nightclub were crooners Crystal Swing alongside Fair City's Sorcha Furlong.

Also seen out there was Big Brother star Noirin Kelly, fresh back in Dublin after a trip away to London.

Gregarious lawyer Gerald Kean was there with fiancee Lisa Murphy while Cheryl O'Rourke also popped in to enjoy the bash.

Meanwhile, back in the city centre, familiar faces were enjoying a night out on the tiles in Bucks Townhouse.

Party girl Avila Lipsett was spotted in there with good pal Emily O'Donnell, who was one of the participants of RTE show ICA Bootcamp. Avila told the Diary they were in town for a going-away party for one of their pals.

And down in The Pink, chart-toppers Westlife were celebrating the opening gig of their five-night stint in the O2.

Also there was Polish beauty Isabella Chudzicka who was celebrating her birthday with a group of 15 pals.

Lillie's Bordello was also packed with revellers such as Virginia Macari and comic Des Bishop.
