Get set for Bieber fever as Justin comes to town

DUBLIN is bracing itself for a serious infection of Bieber fever when the Canadian sensation comes here next week.

And the Herald can reveal how Justin Bieber (17) will be joined on the Irish leg of his European tour by child sensation Willow Smith (10), whose monster hit Whip My Hair became the highest debut single of the year in 2010.

The two young stars may also have Willow's movie star father Will Smith in their entourage, ahead of the cute duo making their Irish debut as they take to the stage at the O2, Dublin, for his sell-out shows on March 8 and 9.

"Justin is very close to the whole Smith family after becoming friends with Willow and Jaden and even describes Will as his Hollywood dad. He sees him as a huge mentor to him and really values his advice," said a source.

"Justin has stayed with them in their house before and has talked about doing a movie project with Will in the future so it makes sense that his daughter is support act to him now."

Looking set to replicate some of Justin's success, Willow -- who said Justin is like her big brother -- is already making a huge splash in the fashion world with her wacky outfits and unique sense of style.

The daughter of Smith and actress Jada Pinkett, she's a front-row regular at all the top fashion shows.

The Herald can reveal how she'll be on the stage for approximately 20 minutes ahead of Bieber's appearance shortly after 8.30pm.

"I'm excited to see what Willow brings to the table," Justin said. "We start on March 4, so she's really excited, and she told me that she can't wait -- and she's adorable -- so I can't wait."

Fans of Justin, dubbed 'Beliebers', inundated the singer with good wishes as he marked his 17th birthday this week, ahead of landing in Birmingham to kickstart his eagerly awaited My World tour there with two dates this weekend.

But his fans here will be whipped up into a frenzy of excitement when he takes to the stage in the O2. And promoters have also issued another reminder to ticket holders that the purchaser must be present to gain entry. Valid ID will also be asked for in a further bid to avoid anti-touting measures.

Justin, who's worth an estimated €100m, revealed this week how he had some low-key celebrations for his 17th birthday on March 1. He said he was going to relax as he wanted to "mentally prepare" himself for his tour.

However, his fans worldwide were left devastated after he went public on his romance with actress Selena Gomez, who he was spotted smooching at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
