GERRY Ryan's brave daughter Lottie (24) has stepped out for her first photocall since her father's death earlier this year.
The photogenic youngster, who's the eldest of the Ryans' five children, was posing for the cameras this morning as she launched the Summer Blowout festival.
And the Herald can reveal how the 24-year-old is following in the footsteps of her DJ father after landing her first job as festival MC.
"She was absolutely thrilled to be asked to take part in the event. She loves music and she's excited about doing her first big gig," said a source.
A one-day Leaving Cert results party taking place on August 18 at Donnybrook Stadium, she will be taking to the stage as presenter of the event.
Among those on the diverse line-up will be X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Razorlight, Alex Gaudio, Lee Ryan, Director and Ruth-Anne Cunningham.
No stranger to the spotlight, the attractive brunette already has plenty of experience in taking centre stage, most recently fronting a pilot for a new show called Life As A VIC (Very Important Child).
At the time, she spoke about how her proud dad thought it was a "great idea" for her to take part in a show that dispelled all the myths about celebrity offspring.
A journalism and media graduate, she said she has always worked to prove herself in her own right.
"I went to college, then interned. I did the hard work that everyone is supposed to do and I'm not going to lie and say doors aren't opened for you; of course they are.
"But if I don't have something to back it up with, the criticism will be twice as hard on me, so I nearly have to double-prove myself really."
Speaking about her relationship with her father, she memorably remarked: "The negatives are part and parcel of how I have been living for 24 years, so I only see the positives. He is an unbelievable dad and teaches us such a good work ethic."
