Georgia to wed here next May

Top model Georgia Salpa will walk down the aisle in Ireland next May, the Herald can reveal.

The Spain-based beauty (29) will seal the deal with her partner of three years, Joe Penna, at a ceremony in early summer 2015.

A source close to the well-known clothes horse said they're in the final stages of firming up details for their big day - with no expense spared to ensure it's an affair to remember.

"She's really excited about it - she has no doubt that Joe's the guy for her," she said.

British hedge fund manager Joe went down on bended knee last December and popped the question to a delighted Georgia, whom he has been dating for nearly three years after meeting her in Marbella.

Her lavish wedding ceremony is expected to take place in Ireland after she confirmed that they have been looking at some of the five-star hotels around the country. Although the Kim Kardashian-lookalike is half Greek, she has ruled out having the bash in her father's home country and is instead looking at keeping the ceremony closer to home.

"We're just taking it at our own pace," she said. "We've been looking at venues in Ireland."

However, she has ruled out following in the footsteps of Rosanna Davison by signing a deal with a glossy magazine for the rights to her pictures.

"I definitely won't have anything that's in the press, and I won't do any shoots with anyone. No way," Georgia added.

One of Ireland's most in-demand models, the Andrea Roche signing divides her time between Spain, London and Ireland and is still a regular visitor back to these shores.

She remains in close contact with her tight-knit family and circle of pals including fellow models Karena Graham, Michele McGrath and Louise Kavanagh, who'll all be at the wedding.

They often jet over to see her in Spain, where they stay with Georgia at her and Joe's lavish villa.
