French soccer team deserved World Cup exit after shattering our boys' dreams -- Claudine

CLAUDINE Keane believes the French soccer team got their just desserts with their departure from the World Cup.

The wife of Ireland skipper Robbie Keane said she was not surprised about the squad's embarrassing exit from the tournament.

"Maybe it was just bad karma and maybe it [Henry's handball] came back around and bit them on the bum," she told the Herald.

The pair were photographed enjoying a sunshine holiday in Sardinia with son Robert Jnr (13 months) at the start of the tournament.

This was followed by a recent trip to Dubai as they enjoyed Robbie's four-week break from training with Tottenham.

However, Ultimo model Claudine revealed how nothing made up for missing out on the thrilling competition, now reaching its final stages.

Holland became the first team to book their place in Sunday's final with a 3-2 win over Uruguay last night.

They will face the winner of tonight's clash between Germany and tournament favourites Spain, ensuring an all-European final.

"When the World Cup started, there was nowhere else in the world, no holiday that we wanted to be on more than making it to South Africa," Claudine said.

"It was the team's dream and I felt so bad."

The blonde bombshell jetted into Ireland on a promotional tour for 'Adore Moi by Ultimo' underwear alongside label boss Michelle Mone.

The Malahide native also confirmed that she would love to give Robert Jnr a little brother or sister at some stage in the future.

"I could never have just one child, I have always wanted more," she added. "But with Robert, I really want to give him my full attention, he's only 13 months old and he deserves a bit more mum and dad time."
