Fashionistas will be out for Lisa Fitzpatrick's new style bible

- Fashionistas will be out in force tomorrow night for the star-studded launch of Lisa Fitzpatrick's new style bible.

Her debut book, titled Enjoying Style & Fashion, will be unveiled in The Morgan Hotel, which is owned by her hotelier husband Paul.

Winner of the top VIP Style Award in 2007, Lisa (38) is a firm favourite in the fashion stakes.

Pippa O'Connor, Virginia Macari, Glenda Gilson and Lorraine Keane will all be attending.

- British pop queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor is jetting into Dublin this week to launch the new gaming system Kinect, exclusive to Xbox 360, on Wednesday in the Royal Hibernian Academy.

The singer will be joined by her husband Richard Jones from The Feeling at the VIP event, where they'll be performing as a DJ duo.

Top models Gillian Quinn, Nadia Forde and Vogue Williams are already huge fans of Kinect.

- RTE's new golden girl Jennifer Maguire has invited some of her best pals to a glitzy bash tonight to celebrate the start of her new RTE dating series One Night Stand.

Jennifer will be tucking into Skyy Vodka Appletini's and Dominos pizza in the VIP section of Buck Whaley's tonight with all of the contestants taking part in the series set to attend.

The series starts on Thursday at 10pm on RTE Two.

- Weeks after completing their gruelling climb to Mount Everest's base camp, Fair City actress Jenny Kavanagh and her former

co-star George McMahon, (who played Mondo) reunited with the rest of Team Hope over the weekend to support fellow climber Philip Gray as he exhibited Everest On Canvas at the RDS Art Fair.

The gutsy fundraisers recently spent three painful weeks in Nepal, trekking through the mountains before making a technical climb to 20,350 feet -- raising €60,000 for the Hope Foundation and street kids in Calcutta.

The team are still raising funds for the foundation and are trying to help build a new home for girls for its project in Calcutta.
