THE fourth series of TV3's The Apprentice could well be a family affair for Bill Cullen's glamorous partner Jackie Lavin, with her son Gary expected to make another appearance on the hit show.
The former model explained how her ambitious offspring has just expanded his own business, a vitamin drinks company called Vitz, and says he is a good example of the kind of candidate her other half is looking for this year.
Jackie's nephew Brian Purcell is also on the Apprentice panel acting as Bill's right hand man and the business woman admits that her son could appear in some capacity again this year.
The former Leinster rugby player was featured briefly in last year's series, with his drinks company used in one of the tasks.
"Yes he might," Jackie said. "He's doing really well. He's launching a new product that's going to be for weight loss. It's going to be lean and green. I think he said he's up 80pc now so that's great. The biggest thing is having your product on the shelves. If it's not out there then it can't sell."
The former sportsman dated South African model Roberta Rowat for over eight years before the couple broke up last year, with the Assets beauty taking off to build her career in the States.
Meanwhile, Jackie, who had a more prominent role in last year's series, went on to explain how she's looking forward to putting the contestants through their paces again this year.
She will be working closely with Bill's newest recruit next year and says the chosen participants face a tougher time in the boardroom than ever this year, given that the Apprentice boss himself is set to go into business with them.
The winner is set to receive €100,000 cash, plus a start-up package worth an extra €100,000.
