Model Faye Dinsmore is set to become our most successful fashion export.
The former Assets model (22) has just been signed by top international modelling agency IMG, the Herald can reveal.
While she has already blazed a trail on the international scene, landing a high profile campaign for Galaxy chocolate and stomping the runway in Paris and New York, Donegal native Faye is tipped to be the next Kate Moss.
And she is one step closer to becoming a fashion icon as she has just been signed to the prestigious agency which represents industry bigwigs such as Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell and Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova.
IMG, which is said to only sign two girls per year, is one of the world's leading agencies and Faye has just signed on the dotted line to join its Paris office.
Faye announced the news on her popular blog, saying: "Hey guys, so I'm in Paris and I've just signed with IMG. I'm so excited and very very lucky. And I have to say a big thank-you to my 'big sister-model' Lesly for all her advice and help xxx."
The flame-haired beauty is just the second Irish catwalk queen to be signed to the elite agency, which already represents Dublin supermodel Caitriona Balfe (30) in New York.
And she recently met the finalists of The Model Scouts during their sojourn in Paris, where they mingled with the cream of Irish talent, including designer Ciaran Sweeney.
The former Trinity College student is no stranger to the limelight, having starred in the video for Robbie Williams' single Bodies.
But Faye left her Dublin-based agency in April after being disillusioned with the lack of work here.
She is now based in Paris but regularly travels to London and New York for work -- and most recently hit the headlines after trumping top Irish celebrities Ronan Keating and Nicky Byrne as the only Irish person to have more than 200,000 fans on Facebook.
