DUBLIN presenter Eoghan McDermott says he doesn't mind working behind the scenes on The Voice of Ireland.
The TG4 presenter landed the role on the new talent show after fighting off some stiff competition. The Knocklyon native was chosen to co-host the programme alongside Winning Streak's Kathryn Thomas.
But Eoghan says he's happy to be doing most of his work back stage.
"My main role will be talking to all the acts backstage and I'm happy about that. I'm more than happy to give Kathryn free rein."
The Xfm presenter will take on a role similar to X Factor's Dermot O'Leary. The show's auditions kick off in October and the live shows will begin in the New Year.
