Dylan Bradshaw welcomes big names to his new South William Street salon

HAIRDRESSER to the stars Dylan Bradshaw will welcome a host of big names to his new South William Street salon this month for a special launch party to mark its opening.

The bash takes place next Wednesday, February 17, at 7pm, with lucky guests being treated to cocktails and canapes on the night.

His new salon has already been inundated with bookings.



  • THE Chocolate Bar on Old Harcourt Road was the place to be last night when many of the biggest names on the social scene stepped out for a special celebration to mark over 100 years of Bacardi rum.

The rum, which originates from Cuba, was first marketed in February 4, 1862, by Don Facundo Bacardi Massi. Guests last night enjoyed music from DJ Food, RePercussion, DJ Lex Woo and DJ Kormac as well as a variety of Bacardi cocktails.



  • TONIGHT will see TV3's Karen Koster, Aisling O'Loughlin, Lisa Cannon, Glenda Gilson and Sean Munsanje step out together to officially launch the second annual Xpose Live Roadshow.

The fivesome will be on hand at the exclusive Dylan Hotel in Ballsbridge to reveal details of this year's event, which is due to go nationwide for the first time with dates in venues across the country.



  • STUNNING models Sarah Morrissey and Carmel Mannion stepped out this morning to unveil a selection of dresses from this year's A-wear new spring '10 collection.

The leggy beauties were spotted at the Bar With No Name in Kelly's Hotel, on Great George's St, at 10.30am. Inspired by retro Americana, the collection is full of striking dresses, suede ruffle minis and bright, bold prints.



  • TICKETS are now on sale for this year's UNICEF Mother's Day Lunch, which will take place in aid of the Safe Motherhood Programme in the D4 Berkeley Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

The event, on March 12, is one of the highest profile events on the Dublin social scene, with big names including Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan and Gabriel Byrne among those who are former patrons of the event.
