Dressed to kill on Bono red carpet

KILLING Bono is one of the most anticipated homegrown films of the year, but last night's premiere was all about the girls.

Lisa Murphy, who has nabbed herself a new role as a presenter with Kildare TV, held her own on the red carpet at The Savoy last night.

The blonde beauty is now working with the online channel, and started off her new gig on a high by interviewing the two lead actors.

The model and beauty salon owner previously said she was "too busy" to become a TV presenter, but she has cleared her schedule to make time for her new job as a roving reporter.

Amy Huberman may not have a role in the flick, but all eyes were on the pint-sized actress (31) who looked stunning in an all black ensemble, injecting some colour with a bright red scarf.

The film boasts two talented newcomers as its leads in Robbie Sheahan and Ben Barnes, both of whom refused to be overlooked in the style stakes.

Laois native and Misfits star Robbie ditched his signature, wild curly hair in favour of a much shorter 'do and goatee. And The Chronicles of Narnia actor Barnes was sporting a grey and black suit, while his Katie Larmour was in attendance as the obligatory eye candy for the night.

The brunette beauty was all smiles as she happily posed for photographers in a fitted silver dress.
