Don a debs dress for Cecelia's casting call

CECELIA Ahern is looking for young actresses to dust off their taffeta debs dresses and head down to Temple Bar tomorrow.

Filming for her latest feature film, Love Rosie, is due to start next month.

And production company Octagon Films is holding an open casting call tomorrow in Filmbase in Temple Bar.

The romantic comedy is based on Cecilia's best-selling 2004 novel Where Rainbows End, and casting directors are looking for eager extras willing to relive their disastrous debs nights.

The call-out reads: "Girls – if you recently had your debs, bring along a photo of you in your dress."

"Guys – Great if you own your own tux, but if not don't worry, just bring along a debs picture & suit measurement details if you have them.

"We need guys and girls aged 17-25."

The film will star Mortal Instruments' Lily Collins and Hunger Games actor Sam Claflin.

It focuses on two best friends who plan on moving to the States when Rosie becomes pregnant after getting frisky with somebody at her debs.

Although Alex is not the child's father, the pair stay in touch over the next 12 years as their lives change and destinies unfold.

"There is going to be huge debs scene filmed; they want to capture the madness and nostalgia of it," a source close to the production said.

"It's going to be one of the largest shoots during the course of filming, and probably one of the most enjoyable to watch."

The production company is also looking for child actors and a bouncing baby boy with ginger locks.

"We're also looking for a Caucasian male baby from one month old at time of shooting to be in a homebirth scene. Red hair an advantage."

Ray Winstone's daughter Jaime will also star, alongside Les Mis actress Lily Laight.

Cecelia Ahern has raked in more than €5.5m from the film rights to her novels.
