Dearbhla shocked as her nude shots cause website meltdown

Model Dearbhla Hogan has revealed her shock after interest in her first-ever nude photoshoot caused the website of her Belfast based agency, Style Academy, to crash.

The Castleknock beauty, who is also signed to BScene the Agency in Dublin, explained how the photo, which shows her baring plenty of skin alongside fellow models Hollie Keegan and Kristen Gillespie, was uploaded last week and within hours had to be removed due to the large volume of traffic to the site.

Dearbhla (25), who went under the knife last February to have a nose-job, insists she has no regrets about the risque shots and admits she would be willing to pose naked again in the future provided the shoot was tastefully done.

"I couldn't believe it when I heard that the site had crashed. I wasn't expecting the pictures to cause quite such a stir," she told the Diary.

"I'm one of the faces of this year's Fall for Fashion event so at least it's getting the message out there. I actually didn't know we wouldn't be wearing any clothes until I got there and they asked me where my dressing gown was.

"I'm thrilled with how they look, though. I think they look very artistic and even though we were all nude you can't really see a huge amount in them," she added.

Dearbhla donned her gladrags last Friday night to attend fellow model Ally Garvey's 21st birthday celebrations at the Garda Club on the South Circular Road.

She also attended the annual Variety Club Awards on Saturday night and saw Miss World founder Julia Morley honoured with a Humanitarian Award on the night.

The bash marked one of Dearbhla's last outings on the Dublin social scene as she prepares to make the move to London next month alongside her boyfriend of four years Gavin Cleland.

The couple, who live together in Dublin are in the process of securing an apartment in the Shoreditch area and will make the big move as soon as Dearbhla ties up the final loose ends with her Irish-based agencies.

The leggy beauty insists she will be regularly back to Ireland for work and will remain signed to both BScene and Style Academy.

Other guests at the glitzy Variety Club event included Mr World Kamal Ibrahim and model Pippa O'Connor and her fiance Brian Ormond, who MCed the event.

The couple had plenty to celebrate following the news that Brian is to be reinstated to the small screen following the axing of kids' show Ice. It was announced yesterday that he will host new series Who Are You Kidding?
